Procession, with Dustin Yellin
An augmented-reality procession made with artist Dustin Yellin and the National Wildlife Federation, staged for the Tribeca Film Festival.
Droga5 teamed up with contemporary artist Dustin Yellin and the National Wildlife Federation on Procession, an artwork about the fragile parade of life moving through a changing world.
Augmented reality let it leave the gallery and march through the city, a public artwork you could summon on your own phone during the Tribeca Film Festival.
Yellin's dense, collage-like figures became volumetric and animated, a moving line of creatures and people that carried the National Wildlife Federation's message into the streets and onto screens.
